This exquisite Jasmina keepsakes box is hand made from mango wood with a distressed white finish. Each box has a pretty hand carved decorative detail on the top and three photo windows. This means you can make the box really special by personalising it with photographs and then fill it with memories and keepsakes. It also makes a beautiful jewellery box. Size: 33 x 26x 15cms. The mango wood used is sustainable. Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit but once the trees reach a certain size and age, they stop bearing fruit. It is then that the trees can be cut down and used to create wood products. The removal of the old trees makes space for farmers to plant new mango trees. This not only means that none of the wood is wasted but offers a supplementary income to mango wood farmers. Mango wood is a hard wood that comes in many shades from light to dark.
