Purple Corn is a very high antioxidant food source, it provides anthocyannins which have been proven to support blood sugar balance, weight loss and immunity strengthening. They also help to improve cholesterol balance, inflammatory conditions and connective tissues.
An Andean crop: a variety of Zea Mays. Growing mostly in Peru, this unique plant is cultivated on the coast, as well as on land almost ten thousand feet high. The history dates back as far as the Mochica culture.
Usage: Purple Corn Extract will go a long way so only a little pinch is needed. Add to smoothies, dips, sauces, juices, raw chocolates, puddings, cakes, and use to colour children’s food.
