Developed in Leicester, the stinging nettles are harvested from Lincolnshire and the fabric is manufactured in Wakefield. Jacob James make the hats in Coventry, adding a lining of colourgrown* cotton. The result - painless hat perfection, a truly British affair! *Cotton can be gown in a variety of shades, so there is no dyeing or chemicals involved in the process. All hats come with their own recycled label giving details of the Stinging nettle fabric which makes these hats truly unique. Available in four base colours, Dandelion, Slate, Granite and Bilberry. Woollen Beanie and Scarf in doubleface knit. A special knitting technique creates a fabric with wool on one side of the garment and cotton on the other side. This gives you a unique garment of the highest comfort. Available in four classic colours - Navy, Light Grey, Black and Dark Grey. All are lined in organic black cotton and have thin teal blue line detailing. The beanie hat has a teal blue tab on the crown (image 3). Composition: 50% Pure New Wool, 50% Organic Cotton. Washing instructions: Hand wash. Pull to original shape - do not wring. Please use a washing product suitable for woollen clothing. Washing tip: We recommend hanging your hat and scarf outside overnight, as the humidity in the air will cleanse and refresh your items.
