Beltoe+Beltie Belts by Velo-Re are Belts made from recycled bicycle tyres. Each one is handmade in Brixton, England or Berne, Switzerland and individual, with its own history. The treads bear the scars of every mile travelled and every unauthorised skid. Velo-Re like the idea of recycling and making full use of the discarded and the superfluous, ending up with something that already has its own character. For this Belt a Slick Tread is used. Choose from: - either a square (images 1 and 2 - on left) or round (image 2 - on right) 'matt' buckle, - two different lengths small-medium (approx 1.15 metres) or medium-large (1.35-1.40 metres) in length. If you like, you can cut your belt shorter with scissors. - the width of your Belt (2.5cm, 3cm, 3.5cm, 4cm, 4.5cm and 5cm - these widths are approximations and will not be exact).
