We are currently making changes to our logistics and any orders placed online between 25th May to 4th June will be sent out on or after Tuesday, 6th June. No orders will be sent out between 25th May and 5th June inclusive. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Security and Privacy
To ensure the security of your transaction, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Transactions on the site are protected with up to 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer encryption. This means that on any page where you enter personal information such as credit card details, the information sent to us is encrypted to safeguard your details. (Encryption prevents other internet users from accessing this information.) We only accept orders that are placed using this technology.
You can check that you are shopping in a secure environment by looking for either a locked padlock icon in the address bar (Internet Explorer and Google Chrome), or the top right corner of the browser window (Safari).
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your computer. They are not computer programmes, cannot access information saved on your hard-drive and cannot spread viruses.
Data collection, storage and sharing
Our data collection and storage is governed by the rules of the UK Data Protection Act.
You may browse The Natural Store website without giving us any of your personal information.
However, if you wish to make a purchase, request a catalogue or sign up for our newsletter, you will be asked to pass over such information as will enable us to fulfil your request.
We keep a record of this information in our database so we may recognise you as a customer. We also keep a record of your purchases and we often save email correspondence to track questions or concerns you may have with our products or service. This information is password-protected and stored on a secure server.
We may share your personal information with product supply and delivery companies that we partner with, in order for them to be able to drop-ship your order to you, to keep you informed about a particular product or service, to handle any complaints or queries and to give you the best customer service we possibly can.
We do not share your email address with any third party.
We may occasionally swap our mailing list with other companies whose products we think will be of interest. We will then send a single catalogue to their customers and in return they can send a single catalogue to our customers. Your details will not be added to their mailing list unless you request it.
However, if you do not wish us to share your details, please email us at email@example.com and we will make sure your details are not made available in this way.
On occasion we may obtain lists of potential customers from external companies. We will only deal with reputable companies that take privacy and data protection as seriously as we do and we will always let you choose not to receive further marketing material from us.
