These stylish letters are handmade from mango wood. The chunkiness of the letter combines beautifully with the warm coloured, natural grain of the mango wood. A great gift for newly married couples, christenings and just spelling out names or words that mean something to you. Each letter is free standing but included in the box is a wall hanging fixture should you wish to hang them. Size approx: height 25cm. The mango wood used is sustainable. Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit but once the trees reach a certain size and age, they stop bearing fruit. It is then that the trees can be cut down and used to create wood products. The removal of the old trees makes space for farmers to plant new mango trees. This not only means that none of the wood is wasted but offers a supplementary income to mango wood farmers. Mango wood is a hard wood that comes in many shades from light to dark.
