The Oliver is a beautiful hat, inspired by the traditional News Boy style, made from a blend of stinging nettles and wool.
The fabric was developed in Leicester, the stinging nettles are harvested from Lincolnshire and the fabric is manufactured in Wakefield. Handmade in Coventry, Jacob James add a lining of colourgrown* cotton and some fabulous handmade ceramic buttons by Hogweed. The result - painless hat perfection and a truly British affair!
*Cotton can be gown in a variety of shades, so there is no dyeing or chemicals involved in the process.
All hats come with their own label on recycled paper giving details of the stinging nettle fabric which makes these hats truly unique.
Available in four colours: Dandelion, Slate, Granite and Bilberry, or a combination, for a bespoke look. Sizes available: Small, Medium and Large.
