THE MAD SHOW - Make a Difference

Like all these things, it started with a frustrated consumer. Or two to be precise. I’d been trying to live more of an ethical lifestyle for several years, gradually replacing my electricity guzzling lightbulbs, buying more local and organic food, switching my energy supply to a renewable tariff… but every little step required hours of internet research, piles of books and substantial label reading in the local farm shop. That’s when I met Richard.

Jolene Pritchard explains how The Mad Show was borne and how to live for today with the future in mind...click here

BULB Magazine - Bright Ideas From The Underground

It was the perfect job for a restless twenty-six year-old, hungry for adventure. I was in Miami and it was 1998 when Levi Strauss asked me to spend a month each in ten Latin American cities, investigating their youth cultures. Would I mind!? I’d had to have a screw loose to refuse such an offer. And so I became a 'cool hunter'.

Read Amaranta Wright's story of how listening to the hearts and minds of young people around the world, led to the creation of BULB Magazine

RAW CHOCOLATE - Could It Really Be This Good?
Why is it that we crave so much chocolate? Is it the feel good factor, associations with love or addictions to sugar?
