'One of our top ten ways to be more ethical.' Marie Claire

'This magazine appears to be riding a new trend.' The Guardian

'LUNCH readers know who they are: they fret about global warming yet fly Easyjet; they compost religiously yet break into a trot approaching Selfridges...' LUNCH is the magazine which, as Time Out says 'offers a fresh take on the conundrum of conscience versus lifestyle...' says editor Karen Chung. She set up LUNCH in response to the dearth of informative, thought provoking yet gorgeous magazines which covered sustainable and social issues: 'Such a magazine didn't exist, so I made it.'

LUNCH is also the first ever magazine to offset all its distribution, printing and production emissions (through Climate Care)!

Karen Chung, who started her journalistic career on Vogue before working on the launch of Wallpaper. She has been a freelance contract publishing editor for ages, making magazines and websites for brands such as Selfridges, Marks & Spencer, Nokia and Time Out.

The Art director of Lunch, Herbert Winkler, is best known for his award-winning creative direction on Wallpaper. In 1998 he set up Section.d design studio in Vienna, which swiftly expanded to Germany and Switzerland. He established his own office in 2003 and also works for a portfolio of clients across Europe, including Intel, Audi and Zumtobel. Generous to a fault, Herbert likes fast cars and local cheeses.

Issue two of the quirky ethical lifestyle magazine has even more in store for the off-green ethical consumer, from top tips for the perfect ethical wedding; to why the truly modern male must never, ever leave home without his reusable manbag; to diary dates and courses for the well-turned out eco-warrior.

LUNCH is available from The Natural Store (click here for both Issues and Subscriptions) as well as a number of independent literary and style outlets in London (including the Tate Modern and ICA) and across the UK.
