Delivering your Order
Delivery Charge to UK Mainland
Our Standard Delivery to the UK Mainland is charged at £3.99 and this applies to the majority of products on The Natural Store. We do have a few specific items that incur lower or higher charges than our Standard Delivery Charge. For example, the delivery charge for some small, lightweight items such as perfume testers, have a delivery charge of between £1.00 to £2.50. The delivery charge is higher for heavier and bulkier items. Examples being moses basket mattresses (begin at £5.99 delivery charge), shoes range from £4.99 to £7.99 delivery charge, cleaning products £4.99 delivery charge. Plus other items.
Delivery Charges to Rest of World
Carriage prices overseas are dependent on the size and weight of the package. We have over 3000 products and this means it is very difficult to provide set delivery prices to cover every type of order made.
When you place items in your basket and go to the checkout to place an order that is to be delivered abroad, prior to you making any payment, you will receive an email from us detailing that we are calculating your delivery price. We try to do this as quickly as possible and usually within 24 hours of receiving your order, but sometimes it does take longer for us to receive a quote from our courier company.
You will then receive an email back from us with a link included in the email. If you click on this link it will allow you to view the delivery charge for your order and to finish the transaction/order by making payment, if you are happy with the delivery price.
Please find below general guidelines for sending orders overseas. If you are in doubt at all about how much delivery charge your order will cost, please do not hesitate to send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org detailing what you wish to order and where you would like it sent and we can inform you of the delivery price before you place an order with us.
General Guidelines on Overseas Delivery Charges
If your order weighs 2kg or less we will use Royal Mail International Signed For Post or Royal Mail Airsure Post to send your parcel to you. If it is sent by International Signed For Post, it will mean that you will have to sign for the parcel when it arrives with you to ensure that it is received by the correct recipient.
If your order weighs over 2kg we will send it by courier which is usually DHL or Fedex but can vary dependent on the country and courier charges at the time of ordering with us.
Delivery Period for the UK
If you would like to receive your order by a specific date, please detail this in the box titled 'additional delivery instructions' or telephone us on 01273 746781. We will do all we can to have your order arrive by your required date. If we are not able to make the required delivery date, we will contact you very soon after placing your order to inform you and we will be more than happy to discuss available options.
We despatch orders as quickly as possible. Items such as cleaning products, insect repellent, wall charts, some moses basket mattresses will be sent out soon after ordering on a next day delivery service, if the items are in stock. The majority of our orders are sent out within 1-3 working days of the order being placed, either by next day delivery courier for heavier/bulkier parcels or by Royal Mail First Class post for smaller/less heavy parcels.
In the eventuality that we are unable to deliver your order within 2-5 working days, we will be in contact. If you have a specific date to receive the items by please do let us know, as detailed below. Please Note: A few of our very special items are either 'made to order' or have a slightly longer delivery time period and this will be stated in the item's description.
Delivery Period for Overseas
We despatch many of our orders within 1-3 days of the order being placed, please allow up to 2-5 working days for your order to be sent out to you. Once despatched, orders to Europe usually take 3-5 working days to arrive. Orders to the USA usually take 3-7 working days to arrive once despatched. Orders to the Rest of the World usually take 7-14 days to arrive after despatch.

We take the greatest care when packing your Order to ensure it gets to you in perfect condition. Our more delicate items will be placed in a strong white mottled box wrapped with white tissue paper. Some of our larger boxes are brown. Any glass items will be wrapped in corrugated card to protect them from breakage and wrapped in a box inside another box. More robust items that already have sturdy outer packaging may be wrapped in either white tissue paper or corrugated card then covered with brown kraft paper. All of the packaging we use is fully recycable and is manufactured from either 100% recycled material or has a high recycled content. Natural Store Packaging is included in your delivery price.
We can also Gift Wrap your order (£3.15) or place it in a Hamper (£15.75) if you would prefer. These two options are available on the way to checkout.
Tracking your Order
Account holders can track their orders. Once you have placed an order, this will show in your account under 'My Bought (yet to be dispatched) Orders'. As soon as we have sent you your order, this will now show in your account under 'My Bought (dispatched) Orders. Here you can see the time and date that we sent out your Order. If you have provided us with an email address, you will be sent an email detailing when your order was sent out and when it is likely to arrive with you. Please note, sometimes yahoo and BTinternet direct our emails to the spam folder by accident.
